For over a decade, we’ve brought veteran energy and unparalleled security expertise to the IT industry.

 

BL King Consulting officially opened in 2014, but our roots trace back to when our owner joined the Navy as a security officer over 20 years ago. During his service, he developed many of the skills he uses at BL King Consulting today, including an advanced understanding of cybersecurity and regulatory compliance. Additionally, as a veteran, our owner brings a unique energy to the IT space and emphasizes teamwork, discipline, integrity, and work ethic.

Since 2014, we have become a certified service-disabled veteran-owned small business (SDVOSB) and provided cybersecurity problem-solving for commercial clients and U.S. government contractors. Additionally, our team has served as a cybersecurity consultant for several high-profile government clients, including the Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Commerce, and Department of Veteran Affairs.

About the Owner

Bobby King founded BL King Consulting to create a workplace where people could enjoy doing their finest work. With a background in cybersecurity at Raytheon and Jacobs Technology, Bobby simplifies complex security requirements, creating tailored solutions that fit each client’s infrastructure and culture. His passion for technology began with his first computer, a Tandy 386sx, and has grown through years of experience.

Bobby’s mission is to secure networks without burdening employees, making them productive and effective. His expertise ensures seamless IT operations and robust cybersecurity, fostering a collaborative and problem-solving environment.
